Oddly, The Serpent spawned in on its own. Somewhere between a manifestation of Charlotte's rage, Henry's grief, and the fog of death that grips Hurricane. It appears in the shadows of alleys, on the other side of windows, and insists on entering wherever you feel safest. The Serpant never physcially injures victims, instead whispering such terrible things that the listener immediately enters near-hysterical distress.
Brings with it the smell of wet asphalt.
The arm tendrils are twisted into braids, echoing the braids of Charlie's hair. These "braids" unfurl to manipulate objects or worm into windowpanes that can be pulled open. They're also useful for grabbing onto whoever it’s speaking with.
Coils up like a snake wherever it can fit. This can be under furniture, inside closets, or even around curtain rods.
The Serpent's eyes are actually solid black, and those white rings are only light reflecting off them. These eyes are adapted for the dark, so naturally it’s adverse to light. Especially in its face. Ouch!
Smells with its tongue like a snake. Good at sensing warm bodies wherever they may be hiding.
Cool and smooth to the touch. Its face has a small amount of squish to it. The "collar" of its neck is actually a frill.
